11, Microscopes - Use your data projector or IWB to investigate small things in the class. Plug in a digital microscope in to the dataprojector so that it is live on camera mode and zoom in on things that children bring in. 13, Who want to be a mathinaire Choose a different child each day to play or I get the whole class to vote at each question. Other ways to use it is with groups and have a competition to see who can get the furtherest with a group a day having a turn.

14. Get rid of Lost Property - Each celebration assembly we hook the video camera into our data projector and zoom around our assembly live. One of our school leaders at Waihi Central looks for a child who has been sitting up and listening throughout assembly. At the end of assembly we zoom in on the child just like they do at big rugby games. If the child has their name on their t-shirt which we use the camera to check they win a subway voucher. A real hit.

89. Silent Movies - Marcus Norrish did this and it was brillant and I have had a go also. Give kids a budget just like the movie makers have and off they go to create their 5 minute silent movie. When it is all completed have a film night to show these off in your class on your IWB or DP.

90. TV Station - Create your own TV station and broadcast it slightly delayed out to all of your classrooms. Have them load it up and watch it on their data projectors or IWB. Include content to promote your schools values, reading or even safety rules that need reinforcing. As it comes from the kids you may get a better response.
